This project aims to promote the Business School at York St. John University. The campaign is going to encourge people to consider york business school courses. The target audience includes sixth-form school leavers and mature students.
They would like to have visual ideas that can stand out from the crowd of all the other higher education branding compaign.
The first route uses football as a medium to present business courses. A good team is key to success for both the football team and the business team. To illustrate what “position” they will be in a business in terms of a football team, to visualise the abstract concept of business courses and show the audience its “personality”. It can arouse the audience’s interest and thinking more about the business course.
The second route uses objects to represent the feature of each subject in the school. It illustrates what(who) the students will be after graduating. Unlike other higher education advertising, it presents in a symbolic way to arouse interest and thinking. It uses Pop Art, not the “professional portrait”, but keeps the clothing for the professional image to balance the new and old styles.
